Construction Consulting:

Having 25 years experience in all forms of residential renovation, problem solving for years and working with structural engineers & code enforcement officers that has given me the knowledge needed to give you he space you want. Instead of hiring a GC you just pay us by the hour ONLY when you need it. I bill $90 per hour for my ON THE JOB consulting services.  SEC reserves the right to not consult on dangerous jobs… like roofing.

As of summer 2020… SEC no longer allows clients to buy all materials, due to the many past errors, delays and complications. Some specific materials or items can be bought/provided by clients, but its become to difficult to predict and schedule around this additional labor for issue for SEC.

We are a NC renovator - that means we can do single permit jobs up to $40,000. OR NC allows homeowners to be their own GC. You be the GC and we can work as construction labor for you on any size/budget project. We have done this many times over the years allowing clients control over their project and to save money over normal GC situations.

SEC Material Handling Fee: 20% of whatever material is purchased through our company. (some contractors call this overhead)

SEC Sub Contractor Management Fee: 20% of any subs final invoice hired & managed under SEC.

Permit Applications: $450 for each application. Includes meeting w/ you & town, and drawings. - NOW available for Online Services

Drawings ONLY- for HOA applications: $350 and up - NOW available for Online Services

Office Work is billed at 1/2 hour per invoice $37.50 per paper filing
